Bright House

Here’s another bright one!!!! I LOVE this stamp by odd bird planet! They’re a little pricey, so I can only buy one at a time 😦 I used SC187 again for this card, which is the same sketch as the previous card. I have also entered this card for the weekly inspiration challenge over HERE. The photo was offered as inspiration and what a bright one it is!

Materials List:
Stamps- Oddbirdplanet short house
Paper- CTMH black, blush and sweet leaf cs, Basic Grey Euphoria DSP
Ink- Black Staz-on and CTMH black archival ink for the sentiment, Gelly Roll Souffle pens in lime and lavender, CTMH marker in blush.
Accessories- Basic Grey Fibers Euphoria
Technique- Paper Piecing

What is art???

Oh, Happy Days!!!

Get your sunglasses out!!! This is by far the happiest card I’ve ever created in my entire life! This was inspired by Markie’s Mom. Her signature style consists of black mats and lots of dots using her gel pens! I have TONS of black cs and TONS of gelly rolls, so I thought I would give it a whirl! This is for SC187 over at splitcoaststampers.com!

Materials List:
Stamps- Unity July KOTM
Paper- CTMH blush and black cs, Basic Grey Euphoria dsp
Ink- CTMH archival black ink, ALL my gelly roll pens, glitter, glaze and souffle

okay…one last post!!!

GUESS WHAT!? I was doing my normal blog-hopping and I went over to justjohanna rubber stamps (aka oddbirdplanet) to see if they had any more sneak peeks into their Lime Tart Kits and MY CARD WAS THERE!!!!! My short house card! Crazy stuff!!!! I’m so thrilled like a little school girl giggling…heehee!!!!! So check it out!

A Storms a Brewin!

Okay…I know I’ve posted a TON today, but I can’t get enough of this Unity kit of the month set! Plus, I came across a challenge I missed over at splitcoaststampers.com!!! The challenge was to keep it simple on white cardstock….so here are the results! If anyone read The Heart of Darkness, everyone knows the ambiguity that white lends to it’s subject matter, in my case the subject is my card…lol! Embracing the whiteness was quite a task for me! What to do without matting or cutting or ribbon or bling??? I just love that little tumbleweed in the corner. It may look out of place to you, but in the desert they’re commonplace! LOL 🙂 Oh, forgive my thumb…heehee….the wind is starting to pick up and the clouds were coming in! I had to enhance the color a bit, so the color is a wee bit off too.

Materials List:

Stamps- Unity Tree, sentiment and tumbleweed from the July KOTM
Paper- SU white
Ink- Brilliance Archival ink in Coffee Bean, CTMH markers in chocolate and olive
Accessories- SU bigger brads in pewter and linen thread
