The Stamp of Life: Lemonade2Drink

Good Morning & Happy Monday!

I hope everyone’s weekends were spectacular! I came down with some sort of sinus infection Saturday and started running a fever that night and continued throughout the entire weekend- BOO!

During that time, The Stamp of Life released another FUN club set, Lemonade2Drink!

I kept my stamping simple for this summer set 🙂

Here’s another:

And, since I had Girls’ Bunco Night on the brain all last week…

I didn’t stop there! Here’s my Yahtzee Look-alike:

Definitely check out the Lemonade2Drink Gallery! I saw an alcohol ink creation to die for!

I hope I’ve inspired a little somethin’ somethin’ in those crafty bones of yours 😉

The Stamps of Life: More Phones!

_MG_8049Hello Blogosphere!

I had way too much fun using the Stamps of Life stamp sets, Phones2Decorate and Phone4You! I especially love the little telephone cord!

The card above shows how easy it is to paper-piece and you can add different phone middles and accents with the additional stamps!

Here are two cards in styles outside my comfort zone:

This beachy card would be a great college send-off, don’t ya think!? I don’t know HOW many times my mother begged for me to call her regularly my freshman year in college! LOL!

_MG_8052Hello Blogosphere!

The Stamps of Life: Mini Tags Balloons

minitags1Hello Blogosphere!

Hope your Monday wasn’t so manic 😉 My Monday went well! There was a sky full of sunshine, my kids cooperated for the most part, I received an award (army spouse stuff), Zumba was easy breezy compared to the last few days, and the house managed to stay clean!

Here’s a card I made using The Stamps of Life MiniTags2Cut Sizzix dies! The Dies come with Stamps as well, but I love seeing how far I can stretch a product, so I flipped my mini tags on their heads and turned them into birthday balloons!

The background stamp is the Birthday4Subways background stamp and the present is a die-cut from the Sizzix Framelits & Stamps Set, Penguin & Candy Cane! You should definitely check out the gallery for more inspiration!

Thanks for stopping by,

Materials: The Stamps of Life (MiniTags2Cut, Birthday4Subways, Penguin & Candy Cane), Bazzill Cardstock, American Crafts Glitter Cardstock, The Stamps of Life Ink (banana), Studio Calico Wood Veneer (tiny stars), baker’s twine, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L (3D Foam Squares Mix White), washi tape

The Stamp of Life: MoreLadybugs2Love

tsolapril2Hello Blogosphere!

How’s everything in your neck of the woods? Things are going well here besides some Spring allergy flare-ups! I started weight training at The Y, the kids are thriving, and the remaining days of the deployment are becoming less and less.

Here’s a cutesy card I created using The Stamps of Life sets MoreLadyBugs2You and Swirls4Background. I don’t know why, but ladybugs always remind me of little girls playing soccer?! Is there some movie that I’ve watched that’s been etched into my memory? Anyways, this would make a great congratulations card for a little girl!

Happy Thursday!

In other news, Jen, fellow designer for Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft, will be broadcasting live on USTREAM tonight for a fun class! She’ll be showing you various ways to use Gel Medium on Canvas! I’ll be there- 9PM EST.

Hope to see some of you Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft fans there! This will be a great intro to other mediums!

The Stamps of Life: Swirls4Background

tsolapril4Good Morning Blogosphere!

When I made this card, it took my back to my early days of stamping! I used to paper piece EVERYTHING and I loved anything birds and trees! My style has evolved, but it was super fun to break out some “old” moves.

This card uses The Stamps of Life brand new Swirls4Background stamp and the Trees2Build stamp set!

What are some of your “old” moves? I’d love to hear! Don’t forget to check out the gallery for more inspiration!

Thanks so much for visiting,

Materials: The Stamps of Life (Swirls4Background, Trees2Build), Basic Grey 6×6 paper (Hey Girl), Turquoise Adhesive Rhinestones, Fresh Ink (Ginger), Memento Ink (Rich Cocoa), Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L (3D Adhesive Squares, Mini-Dots Runner)

Live Colorfully

tsolapril5Hello again!

No rants, promise! Just a fun card for the fun of it all 🙂

This card features a new alphabet from The Stamps of Life, Alpha4Fayleen. I had a lot of fun using my gelatos to create a fun background and then used my Memento Dew Drops to get the spectrum stamping for the letters.

This was a VERY messy card to create! After I created the background, I added some modeling paste through a Studio Calico Stencil! I looooooove modeling paste. It’s so much fun to play with and adds so much dimension and texture.

Thanks so much for stopping by,

Materials: The Stamps of Life (Alpha4Fayleen), Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Gelatos (red cherry, lemon, blueberry), Versamark Dazzle ink, Stampendous detail white embossing powder, Liquitex Modeling Paste, Studio Calico Stencil (Burst), Black Striped Washi, Enamel Dots (My Minds Eye), Strathmore Watercolor Paper

The Stamps of Life: Gelato Petals

ladybugs2love5Good Morning Blogosphere!

I have a fun & easy project you can create using two die-cut flowers, some die-cut leaves, your Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Gelatos, and the NEW The Stamps of Life LadyBugs2Love stamp set!

I created 3 different pink washes in a palette and then painted the color on starting with the lightest shade of pink. In the end, you get a cool dip-dyed look! I used my Sizzix eClips & Basic Shapes Cartridge to die-cut the shapes needed for this card.

You should definitely check out the LadyBugs2Love Gallery over at The Stamps of Life for more inspiration!

Thanks for stopping by,

*hint, hint*

bubblegum4metiff6Good Morning Blogosphere!

I’m up way too early for reasons unknown to me.

Maybe it’s all the excitement about my first time as a Mix-Ability Challenge hostess tomorrow or that Jen is teaching a super fun Ustream class tonight or because it’s parent-teacher conference day or because I’m taking my kids to the book fair or I’m just plain nuts.

All of the above.

Here’s a Gumball Machine tag I created using The Stamps of Life BubbleGum4Me and MoreGum4Me Stamp Sets! The tag was die-cut using the Sizzix Movers & Shapers Tag & Tie Die!

Oh and if you look at the tag, you’ll find a hint of what’s in store for tomorrow’s blog post!

Not only is there a NEW Mix-Ability Challenge, but I’m hosting it AND giving away some awesome Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Goodies!

Thanks for stopping by,

Kitschy Easter

bubblegum4metiff5It’s almost that time….

Time for Easter Sunday! How will you celebrate?

Here’s a Kitschy Vintage-Inspired card I made using the new gum4backgrounds stamp from The Stamps of Life! I used it on the Sizzix Egg Framelits Dies and paired it with images from moregum4me, bubblegum4me, and eggs4easter.

I was inspired by a friends’ vintage pyrex collection, similar to this one here:
