Reasons to smile…

Happy Friday!!!

This weekend, we’re purging our household furniture to make way for NEW stuff! I’m especially excited because our furniture has seen its fair share of life experience 😉

This card describes my frame of mind to a T! I cannot wait to make our trip across the country to visit family and friends!

I used Walnut Spray Mist to create the paint effect while using scratch paper to mask off my photos. The photos were give a sanded/antiqued look by applying rubbing alcohol with a paper towel directly to the photos.

I used my Pazzles Inspiration Pen Tool to do the journaling 🙂

Take-out for Coffee Lovers

For Coffee Lovers

I love making my own little favor boxes! When the Bread and Milk Stamps, from Torendi arrived at my home, I KNEW I had to make a little gift box!

I used my Pazzles Inspiration Cutter to cut and score the chinese take-out box and to cut out the chipboard frame. I lightly sanded the edges of the frame and added a coat of picket fence distress paints for a crackled/antiqued effect! Then, I just decorated the inside of the frame with the stamped image, some washi tapes, stickles, and a pearl! The little handle has some washi tape too!

Materials:

  • Bread and Milk Stamps
  • Washi Tapes
  • Bazzill Cardstock
  • CTMH Border stamps
  • Cotton Candy Stickles
  • Colorbox Ink
  • Sewing Machine
  • Distress Paint
  • Pearl

Perfect Pair Blog Hop: Die Cuts & Stamps

Click to the beginning!

Good Morning! Weren’t Chrissy’s projects amazing!!!?

If you are just now starting the hop, I highly encourage you to start at the beginning by clicking on badge above!

Today is Day 1 of a 2-day Perfect Pair Blog Hop Event with Creative Cuts & More and Clear and Simple Stamps. The products go hand in hand, die cuts & stamps!

Here are my projects:

Here, I’ve paired Clear and Simple Stamps, Fall Studio, with Creative Cuts & More die cuts (circle small A2 window card, tag mini set #1, leaves #3 mini set, and self-closing box #1).

Other Materials include Memento Rich Cocoa ink, The Essential Glue Pad, Martha Stewart Glitter, Binding Tape, Glimmermist, Scor-tape, Hero Arts Rhinestones, May Arts Twine, Clear and Simple Stamps button, and Glue Arts Perma Tac Adhesive.

I rounded the corners of the “circle small A2 window card” and stamped the leaves from Fall Studio in a whirlwind pattern.

I LOVE the “self-closing box #1”. I stamped a background pattern of Fall Studio images on the side panels, stamped a leaf image on the front and back, added a glitter strip, and finished it off with some custom dyed binding tape with the “tag mini set #1” and “Leaves #03 Set”.

Fly, A Digital Page

Here’s a Digital Scrapbook page I designed for my hubby!

I used several elements from Twopeas and Designer Digitals to create my page in Photoshop Elements.

Have you ever played around with the Digi-scrapping realm? It’s a lot of fun and you don’t lose any glue dots 😉 I’ll be printing this out soon!

End of Summer…

End of Summer

Here’s a layout I designed for the Hambly Studios Gallery!

One of my favorite times of year is the end of Summer… Everything is so much sweeter and we really take in everything the season has left to offer. Here are some pics of my 3 boys taking a walk down a red dirt path. The red dirt is characteristic of The South and its richness shows through on camera.

I paired the photos with a beautiful copper cardstock from Bazzill and a bright yellow overlay from Hambly Studios 🙂 Kraft cardstock stickers, Technique Tuesday’s Studio AE stamps, and printed journaling finish this page off!

The Usual Suspects

Guess What!? You can now see all the yummy Hambly Studios projects for the new Design Team!!!! You will be able to see the new Hambly Studios Design Team Galleries some time next week!

Here is a project that I’ve been working on for a month. This is version 3.5, lol! I redid this bad boy OVER and OVER until I was 100% happy with the final product. Being on a scrapbooking manufacturer’s Design Team, although AWESOME, is rather intimidating for a stamper gal like me… I wanted to ensure that the project was 100% me!

See the detailed product list!
