Sketchy Sunday {TG023}: Scrapbook or Card!

Hello!

I told you I’d be back with my sketches this week 🙂 This one can be for a Scrapbook Page (12″ x 12″ or 8 1/2″ x 11″) or a card! The tag can be ANY embellishment! If you plan to create a scrapbook page, more power to ya 😉

Sketch Details:

Just so you know, I will be choosing my favorites June 26th to be featured here on my blog! AND, I will randomly choose one participant to win a gift certificate to one of our favorite crafty stores! Other than that, feel free to link up your creations any time because there are no deadlines!

If you play along, use the sketch however you see fit~It’s okay to make changes! Also, please use keyword TG023 if you upload to an online gallery. Please link to me if you use the sketch~I comment on all the cards!

Here’s a layout I created for this month’s Two Peas Scrapbook Stamping with Nichol Magouirk class:

I used Faber Castell’s Design Memory Craft Gelatos and Art Grip Aquarelle Pencils to color the images and sentiment!

Here’s a cool tutorial for the Gradient Gelato Technique:

I kept my layout simple so that the pictures would shine:

I look forward to catching up on all your creations tonight and tomorrow! I have missed blog surfing so very much! Oh, and the reason why I’ve been MIA is two-part. #1, I had a huge DT assignment or two to complete since I was out of town for so long. #2, the Johnsons just might be welcoming a new addition to the family (eeeek, I’ll keep you posted)!

Anyways, please link up your projects here:

Thanks for dropping by (again),

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week #3: Blissful Botanicals

Hello again 🙂

Lately, I’ve been obsessed with party favor ideas on Pinterest! Do you pin? LOVE IT! Well, here’s an idea that’s been in my head for a while! I always love seeing flower bouquets that stand on their own and thought, why not make something fun with Pixie Sticks!? So, here ya go 🙂 I colored the images from Lawn Fawn’s Blissful Botanicals Stamp Set with Copics and then finished it off with a Pebbles Penant!

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week Day #2: Schoolhouse Backdrops

Happy Father’s Day!

I’m catching up on Blog Posts, so bear with me 😉 This is the project I designed using Lawn Fawn’s Schoolhouse Backdrops stamp set! I used the Fancy Pants Filter Paper Embellishments to create these really funky flowers. I used my Faber-Castell Stamper’s Big Brush Markers to stamp off all the images because it is a good permanent ink! Then, I misted the filters with various spray inks including Maya Mists and Glimmermists. Then they were attached to lollipop sticks covered in washi tape and jewelry wire! The flower centers are Prima. Pretty fun, right?

Howdy Folks

Good Evening everyone!

I know, I know, LONG time no see 🙂 Well, the first half of this month was a whirlwind! There was a death in the family on the 1st, then we took a long camping trip, and then I finished it all up with a trip to Fort Benning, GA to see my brother’s Basic Training Graduation!

So, I’ve missed 2 Sketchy Sundays and promise I’ll have some bonus sketches this weekend to make up for it 🙂 I will also be drawing for the winner of my blog giveaway on the 15th! That gives you 3 additional days to enter.

My card above is based off of the CupCards To Go June Sketch:
